Students studying for the Higher School Certificate at Tyndale have a wide selection of subjects and courses from which to choose.

Students may select an academic pathway of study, a vocational pathway, or a combination of subjects to allow for a variety of interests and capabilities. Many students enjoy combining study with a creative passion, in subjects such as Visual Arts, and Music.

Many students at Tyndale choose to undertake a rigorous course of academic study. The school offers challenging Science and Humanities courses, and an increasing number of students are electing to study Extension Mathematics and English courses.

For students eager to prepare for the workplace in the not too distant future, Tyndale provides many vocational options for study. The school has a fully equipped commercial kitchen, which opened in 2011 to allow for an expansion of the school’s VET Hospitality courses. A number of students choose to study Board Endorsed Courses at school. Other students elect to attend TAFE delivered VET courses or courses through private colleges, and participate in Open High School or Saturday Languages School.

Not all of these subjects will run every year. Those that are selected are based on student preference.
