Before and After School Care (OOSH)
Tyndale Kids’ Club
About Kids’ Club
Kids’ Club provides before school, after school and vacation care for children in Kindergarten to Year 6 attending Tyndale Christian School.
Our service operates from a dedicated, purpose-built facility located on school grounds, with access to a range of school spaces including the oval, playgrounds, hall and library. This allows us to offer a variety of engaging experiences in a familiar and connected environment.
Our experienced and caring educators are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and engaging space where children feel valued, supported, and encouraged to explore their interests.
Our Approach to Learning
Our program is guided by the My Time, Our Place (MTOP) framework for school age care. This framework recognises the importance of play, leisure, and relationships in children’s wellbeing, learning, and development.
At Kids’ Club, we interpret this framework through a Christian perspective, embedding our values into everyday practice.
We provide a play-based program where children are recognised as capable and active learners. Their ideas, interests, and voices are central to the planning process.
Children are encouraged to make choices about how they spend their time, with opportunities such as:
- Cooking and creative arts
- Construction and STEM activities
- Drama and music
- Group games and social play
- Outdoor and active experiences

Food and Nutrition
Kids’ Club provides breakfast and afternoon tea during term time and vacation care, included in the session fee.
Our menus are developed in line with the Australian Dietary Guidelines, ensuring nutritious and balanced options for children.
We are a Nut Aware service. Families are asked not to send foods containing nuts.
We also support children with allergies, including those at risk of anaphylaxis. Families are encouraged to check the allergy information displayed at the service and consider this when packing additional food.

Orientation and Transition
We encourage families to visit Kids’ Club before their child’s first day to help them become familiar with the environment and educators.
On commencement, children are supported through a gentle orientation process:
- A peer buddy will help guide them through the space
- Educators will introduce routines and daily expectations
- Children are supported to build connections and feel confident in their new environment
